I’m Jen Pedrozo, a certified content marketer based in Columbus, Ohio. I'm currently looking for freelance writing opportunities with the potential for long-term work if the opportunity is right.
I have one year of experience as a content marketing specialist at Siege Media, an SEO content marketing organization, where I've written for clients in the B2B, construction, cybersecurity, insurance, finance, and lifestyle sectors. In my time there, I've written more than 37 original pieces and outlined, revamped, or updated 28 more.
Before I started at Siege, I worked on a content team writing for legal, health and wellness, and lifestyle outlets. I also wrote podcast episode summaries for a B2B podcast company.
The content I write is clear and approachable whether I'm writing for experts or amateurs. I have a strategic SEO mindset and my content brings results:
- I oversaw a strategy shift for a lifestyle blog that resulted in a 223.3% increase in traffic over seven months.
- 33 posts I've worked on in some capacity are ranking on page 1 of the SERP for their respective keywords.
My client communication skills are top-notch and my project management skills are second-to-none thanks to my background as a high school and middle school English teacher (including during the pandemic when we were 100% virtual).
