Doug Noll

Concise, intelligent writing that makes the complex understandable, the ambiguous clear, and the unreadable readable.

I easily move from smooth to edgy or edgy to smooth, depending on your needs.

45 years of professional experience allows me to take seemingly unrelated ideas and integrate them into a coherent, readable, informative article or blog.

If you have a complicated topic that needs to be explained in a simple way…

If you have readers that appreciate intelligent writing…

If you are looking for content that goes beyond the usual…

If you have a challenging project that is baffling you…

Then I can help you.

I like to write on these topics

  • Communication
  • Relationships
  • Internet Marketing
  • Personal Development
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Decision-Making
  • Leadership
  • Conflict Management

I'm not an expert at everything…

That being said, there is very little that I cannot learn, understand, and write about.

After all, I was a trial lawyer for over 22 years, and that was my daily task—to make complex subjects easy to understand for overworked judges and lay juries.

I love to see my writing show up on Google. There are no guarantees in SEO, and my goal with is to improve the probability of the content I write for you to rank. I have a number of tools at my disposal. Some I use automatically in my content creation process. Other tools are available at an additional charge beyond my base rate. Talk to me to learn more.

I've been writing all my life. I was an English Lit major at Dartmouth, earned my law degree, did legal writing (innumerable briefs, motions, contracts, instruments, and the usual legal mumbo-jumbo), academic articles, and 4 published books (the last one has done pretty well). I left the practice of law in 2000 to dedicate myself as a peacemaker and mediator. I've won international recognition for my work, and two of my books have won awards. My last book is now published in four languages.

And in case, you wonder what I do when I'm not writing…

I love internet marketing…

I do strategic consulting and coaching for businesses, entrepreneurs, and C-level leaders…

I teach people how to listen to emotions…

I teach decision-making under stress and conflict at a major southern California law school…

I play jazz and blues violin…

I'm a 2nd degree black belt…

I fly airplanes and helicopters…

I occasionally harass trout and steelhead with a fly rod…

And I live on 10 acres in the mountains not too far from Yosemite National Park.

I bring all of this to bear in my writing, which gives it the depth and breadth that draws in your readers.
