Devishobha Chandramouli

I help you align your content to your business purpose and amplify your reach with a combination of great research, SEO and a fabulous writing voice.

Hi, I am Devi!

I stumbled into the world of writing after about 12 years in the corporate world as a software engineer. My training as an engineer coupled with my passion for words helps me balance madness with the method. My writing journey really had a jumpstart when I sent off a viral article on my own blog to Arianna Huffington(herself!) and received an invite from her to write for The Huffington Post(Now HuffPost) after she read one of my articles on my own blog.  Since then, my bylines have appeared on Entrepreneur.com, LifeHack, Tiny Buddha, Addicted2Success, The Good Men Project, YourTango, Thought Catalog, Mother.ly and many more.

I have also ghostwritten for some popular columnists on publications like Inc. com. One of the articles featuring my work interviewing a Digital identity expert was featured in the "Today's Must-Read" section on Inc.com.

I am passionate about driving the brand voice and enjoy the process of solving the consumer-brand-product puzzle. Here are a few testimonials by some clients I worked for:

"Devishobha is a solid freelance writer who came to the table with creative ideas. Her work was on-time and on-message. Not to mention, she was a pleasure to work with! "- Allie VanNest, LittleBits, New York.

"Exotel's business is technology & telecom heavy and given that Devishobha does not have a TMT background, I was initially skeptical about her ability to communicate with insight to our audience. However, she did a fantastic job of picking up concepts fast even though she worked remotely. As on the date of writing this piece on how glad I am to have worked with her, the most widely read article on Exotel's blog was co-authored by her."- Shivkumar Ganesan, co-founder- Exotel, South Asia's largest cloud telephony company.

I highly recommend Devishobha Chandramouli to help you with any of your copywriting and editing projects. I had a project that required me to “re-work” an older piece of content to make it totally fresh and new and expanded. I did not have the time to do the project myself. I forwarded Devi the original piece and gave her additional content she could add and explained the intention of the project. In return, what I received was perfection. The writing was in “my voice”, the new content flowed perfectly into the original content and the tone of the piece was much better than the original. I will definitely be working with Devi on future writing projects. She is a pleasure to work with and she is very talented! Thank you, Devi! - Joanna Clark, Founder & Certified Gentle Sleep Coach: Blissful Baby Sleep Coaching
